ImageGrid RIS
Candelis has expanded the capabilities of its ImageGrid™ PACS Appliance with the addition of a cost effective, feature-rich and fully integrated ImageGrid™ RIS (IG RIS). IG-RIS is designed to streamline and improve the workflow of a radiology environment. As a web-enabled application residing on the ImageGrid PACS appliance, the RIS module allows radiologists, technologist and staff to better manage and access patient data and information from a single platform. ImageGrid RIS can be accessed from any workstation on a Local Area Network, Wide Area Network or remote workstations via a Virtual Private Network connection.
ImageGrid™ RIS key features include:
- Complete workflow-driven RIS system which captures every process from patient registration to final report delivery.
- Feature rich, easy to use order-based scheduling allowing multiple procedures to be scheduled simultaneously. Powerful color-coded user interface and flexible visit/appointment creation.
- Fast, intuitive workflow-driven patient registration and order entry.
- Ability to create digital encounters capturing patient statistics, allergies, and other medically relevant information.
- Quick and straightforward document scanner and import tool, enabling fast storage of important patient and order documents.
- Powerful free mode allowing advanced users access to the information they need efficiently, bypassing the constraints of a structured workflow.
- Built-in template based reporting system with single-click X.509 Digital Certificate signing, printing, faxing, and exporting (to PDF) capabilities.
- Powerful radiologist workflow including integration with IGViewer, built-in dictation, and fast report viewing.
- Compatible with leading transcription pedals, which integrate with transcription workflow.
- Powerful administrator user interface allowing customization of all aspects from procedure creation, facility creation, staff roles, pre-configured data, etc.
- Multi-user aware system with internal or remote LDAP server (including Active Directory) authentication and application customizations based on user's role.
- System allows remote login, with HTTP tunneling capabilities.
ImageGrid™ HL7 / MWL: ImageGrid™ offers an optional HL7 Support protocol for integration with an existing RIS, HIS or EMR. This feature allows for the synchronization of patient data across multiple different applications so as to achieve consistency between image management applications and other electronic patient records.
The integration of ImageGrid™ with an existing RIS, HIS or EMR using HL7 will also generate a "Modality Worklist" for each modality, further improving and streamlining the workflow.
